Tapirus animals of the world
To date, five species of tapir have been identified worldwide. These are herbivores. The short nostrils are a special feature of these. Pigs have a body similar to their characteristics. There are four species inhabiting South and Central America. One species lives in Southeast Asia

It is the
largest land-dwelling animal in Central America. Height ranges from 5.9 to 8.2 feet . Light brown fur can be seen all over the body. These
animals live in the mud on hot days .

has a good Olfactory.

discovered latest species. It is the smallest species of tapirus in the world.
The average height is about 90 cm. Body color is slightly darker. Although living alone,
there are female and male pairs .

It gets its
name from the fact that it lives in the mountains between 2000 and 4000 meters above sea level in South America. There is a furry
